CMD CCL flagged off CCL ke LaaL/Laadli Awareness rath

Chairman-cum-Managing Director, CCL Shri Gopal Singh on Friday flagged off CCL ke LaaL/Laadli awareness rath(mobile van) from CCL Hqrs, Darbhanga House, Ranchi and it will move to command areas of the company to motivate students to participate in upcoming examination of the scholarship to be held in coming days. On this occasion, Director (Tech/Oprns) Sri V K Srivastava, Director Technical(P&P) Sri Bhola Singh, Director(Pers) Sri Vinay Ranjan, Director(Fin) Sri N K Agarwal, GM(SD&Welfare) Sri A K Singh and GMs/HODs were present to grace the occasion.

The rath will visit different districts within the command area of CCL to create awareness about the pioneering CSR initiative of CCL. Under this scheme the students belonging to the downtrodden section of society selected through a state vide test will get free coaching for IIT, lodging, schooling and boarding arrangements. The coaching will be provided by ex IIT alumni who are currently working in CCL.  Since its inception in 2012 more than 75 students have cleared IIT mains examinations.  Many students are working with leading corporate sector companies. This year 11 students of the batch of sixteen securing ninety percentile or higher in JEE Mains. Siddhant Shekhar topped the field with 99.25 percentile.

Shri Singh said that CCL through its Kayakalp initiatives is trying to bring a transformational change in the society. He emphasized that there is no dearth of talented students in Jharkhand and with proper coaching and guidance the students will succeed in iit exams and bring laurels to the state. He reiterated that success rate of scheme is hundred percent.
