"Kayakalp Samadhan Sabha (KSS)" organized at CCL
25 individuals handed over Employment Letter during the program

About
120 issues were registered by stakeholders hailing from different districts of
Jharkhand who aired their grievances before CMD Sri Gopal Singh during monthly
public-interaction programme i.e, “Kayakalp Samadhan Sabha (KSS)” today. With
the success of first KSS (6th July), new hope has instilled among
stakeholders, who came to register their complaints in respect to compassionate
employment, job against land, non-payment of dues etc. Most of the complaints
of previous KSS have been solved in a time-bound manner and complex issues are
being further examined by the management.  



On
every first Saturday of every month, KSS is being organized in which
stakeholders can directly interact with the higher management to resolve their pending
issues.



CMD
CCL Sri Gopal Singh, Hon’ble member of CCL Board Dr. Subhu Kashyap, hon’ble
members of JCSC, Welfare Board and Safety Board were present. All areas GMs
were also connected through a video conferencing. Altogether 25 individuals
were handed over employment letter against death and land during the program by
dignitaries including CMD, CCL.



In
his address, Sri Gopal Singh said that the company is committed to resolve
issues of stakeholders on time-line. He further said that proper technical
training will be given to the fresh recruits and according to their skills and
interest; they will be engaged in different mining activities. He directed all
GMs and Project Officers of Areas to discuss the issues of stakeholders and
solve as per norms.



Witnessing
2nd KSS at Vichar Manch, Dr. Subhu Kashyap said that this is unique
initiative by CCL under the leadership of Sri Gopal Singh aiming to facilitate
the grievance redressal processes in a time-bound manner.



Kayakalp
Samadhan has been conceptualized by CMD CCL Sri Gopal Singh to facilitate the
grievance redressal processes in a time-bound manner. Once complaints is
registered at Area level or at Samadhan Centre, Darbhanga House, Ranchi,
acknowledged is given to the complainant and within 30 days, reply is given
whether their grievances can be solved as per norms of the company or if not
then with valid justification.



Miss Rashmi Dayal, GM(Samadhan) co-ordinated and
compered the programme. General Manager (P/IR) Sri Umesh Singh, Sr Manager (Pers)
Sri Alok Gupta and others also played significant role in organizing the
programme successfully.
