Central Coalfields Limited on Friday felicitated Sri
Niranjan Kumar Agarwal, who  joined the
company as a new Director(Finance). The post was lying vacant after the
superannuation of Sri DK Ghosh , and Sri NN Thakur Director (Finance) NCL was
given additional charge of CCL. Sri Agarwal was working as General
Manager(Finance) in BCCL, another subsidiary of Coal India , prior to taking
over the new role in CCL. 

 As a rich tradition of the company, a mega function
was organized at Vichar Manch, CCL Darbhanga House, Ranchi to honour Sri
Niranjan Kumar Agarwal  by CMD CCL Sri
Gopal Singh by presenting shawl, shreephal and bouquets. Director(Personnel)
Sri R S Mahapatro, Director(Tech/Operations) Sri  V K Srivastava, and Director(Projects & Planning)
Sri Bhola  Singh also presented bouquets
to Sri Niranjan Kumar Agarwal.  Head of
departments of CCL and many employees were present in the function. 

 Addressing a gathering at packed Vichar Manch, Sri
Gopal Singh said joining of the new Director Finance shall give momentum to the
company and company will scale new heights in coming years. He further said
that the company is working on 100 days programme as directed by the concerned
Ministry and his joining will enable us to achieve the target with ease. 

Director (Pers) Sri R S Mahapatro in his address welcomed
back Sri Niranjan Kumar Agarwal in CCL. Sri Agarwal a chartered accountant had
worked in CCL from 2012 to 2015 in NK Area and has vast experience spanning
well over 30 years. Sri Mahapatro saidn that the positivity of Sri Agarwal will
make the company very profitable. 
Director (Tech/Oprns) Sri V.K. Srivastava said that it is a matter of
pride that the new Director has joined the company at right time when company’s
target is growing each passing year.  

 Director Technical (P&P) Sri Bhola Singh
talked about the vast experience of the new director and said that his
experience will make the company easier to achieve his goals.  The programme was compered by Senior Manager(Finance)
Sri A D Wadhwa and vote of thanks was proposed by TS to Director Finance Sri  Sanjay Singh.
