Independence Day celebrated in CCL with full enthusiasm

As India celebrates 72nd Independence Day, Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD), Central Coalfields limited (CCL) Shri Gopal Singh addressed the stakeholders including employees from Mahatma Gandhi Krindangan, Gandhinagar, Ranchi.
Director (Personnel ) Shri R S Mahapatro, Director (P& P) Shri V K Srivastava, Chief Vigilance Officer Shri A K Srivastava, DIG CISF Shri S S Mishra, General Managers and HODs from CCL headquarters, doctors, representatives of trade union, retired employees and other stakeholders were present to grace the occasion. Smt. Pramila Singh, spouse of CMD & president of ArpitaMahila Club,Smt. Sunita Mahapatro, Smt. Archana Srivastava and others too were present.
During the address, the CMD Shri Gopal Singh recalled the sacrifice of freedom fighters and common publics, who sacrificed their lives for India's freedom. Shri Singh began his address by saying that India should become developed Nation and its citizen should be prosperous and happy so that they can contribute their best for overall development of the country.
CMD in his address talked about Hon`ble PM Shri NarendraModi’s unique Mantra "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas," and its implementation within the company by introducing various welfare schemes like “CCLkeLal and Ladli, Sports Academy in Khelgaon, technical training, Rozgaar Mela etc.,with objective of "overall development of villagers, downtrodden, and workforce" leading to Inclusive Growth. He also thanked the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Raghubar Das for his guidance and pro-active approach leading to growth in first quarter of current FY 2018-19 in coal production, coal dispatch etc, compared to last year and paying to government exchequer amounting to Rs.1926 crore (2017-18) and estimated amount of Rs.2250 crore in 2018-19. CMD referred recently opened Kayakalp Public School, Bukru for providing education to needy children, MoU between CCL and Joint Forest Management Committee for developing entrepreneurship among villagers, adopting 74 villages in command areas of CCL for providing drinking water and irrigation facilities and adopting 60 villages of Jharkhand for providing medical services, setting up of Jan Arogya Kendra exclusively for BPL families and other needy people and Super Speciality Clinic at Gandhinagar Central Hospital, Ranchi and other ongoing welfare schemes. Shri Singh also talked about "Power for All" and reiterated commitment to provide energy security to the Nation.
Earlier CMD unfurled a tri-colour, inspected the parade consisting of CCL security personnel, CISF Jawans, Army Band, students of DAV Gandhinagar, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rajendra Nagar and Gyanodaya School. Tricolor balloons were released by CMD and other dignitaries. Various cultural programmes were performed by schools students as well as sports cadets of JSSPS to mark 72 years of Independence Day. Shri Gopal Singh felicitated security personnel. Tri-colour was also hoisted at Area level and other establishments of company. CMD CCL also hoisted a flag at Kayakalp Public School, Bukru. Smt Pramila Singh and others were present to grace the occasion.
Director (Personnel) Shri R S Mahapatro earlier hoisted a tri-colour at CCL Headquarters as well as at Gandhinagar Central Hospital and addressed the gathering. Shri Mahapatro also felicitated the employees of hospital for their outstanding works. School students performed cultural programme to give message of diversity in unity.
