Central Coalfields Limited has organized a “blood donation camp” to mark ongoing celebration of 42nd CIL/CCL Foundation Day at Gandhinagar Central Hospital, Ranchi on 3rd November, 2016. The company is celebrating its foundation day with great enthusiasm and zeal at its headquarters and areas.  Sri R S Mahapatro, Director(Pers.) donated his blood and motivated others to  give blood and save lives.   

On this occasion, Sri D K Ghosh, Director (Finance), Sri Subir Chandra, Director (Tech/Oprns), Sri A K Mishra, Director(P&P), Sri Arbind Prasad, Chief Vigilance Officer, Dr. P K Gupta, CMS CCL Hospitals, Sri R R Sinha, CMS In-charge, Gandhinagar Hospital and others were present. 

Sri D K Ghosh, Director(Finance) and other directors inaugurated the blood donation camp by lighting up traditional lamp .  Dr K K Das, Dr. S K Kedia, Dr. Indu. Dr. Sashi Bhushan of Gandhinagar Hospital and others also donated their blood. 

Twenty-five CISF Jawans donated their blood under the guidance of Sri M Nandan, DIG, CISF. Volunteers of Sahjanand Saraswati Samiti(Ranchi), Swarn Jayanti Club(Bariatu) etc also played active role  in sensitizing  common people and donated their blood to create awareness . Altogether 46 units of blood were collected. 

Head of Pathology, Gandhinagar Hospital, Dr. K K Das, nurses and para-medical staff played active role in successful organizing the blood donation camp.
