CCL Awarded with "Corporate Performance Award"

CCL was awarded with "Corporate Performance Award" during a felicitation ceremony held at Coal India, Kolkata on the occasion of 42nd Foundation Day. Chief Guest of the function, Hon'ble Minister of State, Heavy Engineering and Public Enterprise Ministry, Sri Babul Supriyo presented the award to CMD CCL Sri Gopal Singh. CCL has also been awarded with “Corporate Award on Safety" and "Corporate Award on CSR Expenditure", which was received by GM (S&R), Sri S V Marathe and GM (CSR) Sri Uday Shankar respectively. 

During the ceremony, Sr. Manager (Mining) Sri B K Pandey was awarded with "Vigilance Excellence Award" and Smt Dharni Devi, Drill Operator, Ashoka OCP; Piparwar was awarded with "Best Female Operator". Coal Secretary, Sri Anil Swarup and Chairman Coal India, Sri S Bhatacharya was also present during the award ceremony. 

It is known that CCL has achieved unprecedented growth in Coal production and other related benchmarks like Coal Dispatch. OB removal, Productivity,etc. CCL has not only achieved its set target in production but also maintained “Double Digit” growth during two consecutive years. CCL has moved beyond coal production and is committed towards “inclusive growth” of the society, state and nation. It has started many new scheme for the welfare of the workers, tribal, villagers and downtrodden.
